For puppies 6 months of age or younger, Puppy Kindergarten is designed to get you & your new puppy started on the right foot. From socialization & the basics, to problem prevention, let us help you shape the dog you’ve always wanted.

What’s Covered:

Socialization: Puppies go through a critical socialization period between 8 & 16 weeks of age that can prove pivotal in how they develop. We’ll show you how to properly socialize your puppy based on your lifestyle & activities you’d like to do with your dog.

Basic Manners: From sits, downs & stays to leash walking, door manners, & crate training, we’ll show you how to teach your puppy the must-have skills for a well-mannered dog. 

Problem Prevention: Puppies can get into A LOT of trouble. From chewing furniture & cables, to eating things they shouldn’t, we’ll show you how to nip problems before they arise.

Puppy Kindergarten Program includes:

• 90-minute initial consultation to discuss your lifestyle & goals for your new puppy, as well as getting you started with training methods we’ll be using

For dogs 6 months of age or older who have no formal training experience or need a refresher, Hound High School is designed to teach your dog essential skills to create a harmonious household where your dog is able to understand & listen to house rules.

Basic Manners: We’ll cover all of the basics including name recognition, focus, and essential skills like sits & downs, recall, leave it, leash walking & placement training.

Skills specific to your lifestyle: We’ll go over 1-2 specific skills relevant to the activities you’d like to include your dog in.

Problem Prevention: From counter-surfing to leash reactivity & social outings, we’ll give necessary information to prevent problems from arising.

For dogs 6 months of age or older who have some formal training experience, Canine College is designed to take your dog’s training to the next level. More than learning advanced behaviors, you & your dog will come away with useful skills for everyday life.

Advanced Skills: We’ll show you how to properly work on more advanced skills with your dog including leash skills in public, come when called with distractions, and polite greetings on leash.

Skills specific to your lifestyle: Want to include your dog in activities that require more training? We’ll help you with 1-2 new skills specific to your training goals.

Enrichment & Training Games: We’ll show you how to keep your dog’s mind active & engaged with easy to use enrichment ideas & training games.

Canine College Program includes:

TWO WEEK DOGGIE DAY CAMP PROGRAM

Do you have a lot of dog but not enough time? Let our certified dog trainer do the training for you! Perfect for dogs & puppies needing to hone their basic skills, Doggie Day Camp allows busy owners to accomplish the day’s tasks while getting a well-trained dog. We’ll work one-on-one with your dog or puppy in the comfort of your home 4 days a week. On the fifth day, we’ll show you what we’ve been working on and teach you how to maintain it.

What’s Covered:

Basic Manners: We’ll teach your dog basic manners like sits & downs as well as more advanced behaviors like coming when called, stay, & placement cues.

Sidewalk Scavenging: Have a dog who can’t leave things on the ground? We’ll teach your dog a solid “leave it” so you can go for walks, worry free.

Impulse Control: From door dashing to jumpy greetings & counter surfing, we’ll teach your dog appropriate behaviors so they can slow down.

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION CONSULTATIONS
